TryIt is a site for students to connect with opportunity and inspiration related to their career interests.
We use the term 'micro-experience' to denote an activity or opportunity that can help students learn more about themselves and their career prospects.
We includes things such as:
- Volunteer opportunities
- Classes and workshops
- Clubs and groups
- Online resources such as tools, blogs, and videos
The idea is based on our concept of the 'Knowledge-Experience Loop' where students engage in activities either in the community or online (TryIt) and then reflect on what they've learned (enScholar Learning Tools). This process of testing a career hypothesis and then refining it helps students make more informed decisions.
