enScholar and TryIt are two separate platforms. We currently focus our attention on building the TryIt community, and as a volunteer, it will be your primary focus as well.
enScholar.com is a free, online career platform that guides students through activities to identify their interests, strengths, and values.
Try it out for yourself by setting up a free account on our homepage enscholar.com. There you'll find a video which will give you an overview of what we've been up to.
try.enScholar.com is an online community for students and teachers to find and collect the best learning opportunities and resources related to science, tech, engineering, and math.
We use the term 'micro-experience' to denote an activity or opportunity that can help students learn more about themselves and their career prospects. Visit TryIt
We includes things such as:
- Volunteer opportunities
- Classes and workshops
- Clubs and groups
- Online resources such as tools, blogs, and videos
The idea is based on our concept of the 'Knowledge-Experience Loop' where students engage in activities either in the community or online (TryIt) and then reflect on what they've learned (enScholar Learning Tools). This process of testing a career hypothesis and then refining it helps students make more informed decisions.
